My artistic journey began at a young age when I discovered my innate talent as a dancer, excelling in both ballet and modern dance. Remarkably, at the tender age of 13, I received an invitation to join a professional dance company, setting the stage for a life devoted to artistic expression.
In high school, my artistic potential caught the discerning eye of an inspiring art teacher who recognized my passion and drive. Encouraged to explore various artistic mediums, I honed my skills and embarked on my creative path. At just 17, my talents found a canvas in the business world, where I crafted hand-painted logos and signs for a private airport, marking the beginning of my professional artistic endeavors.

Throughout my youth, I immersed myself in the diverse realms of the art world, cultivating my skills and passion. My multifaceted career has seen success in various roles, including artist, educator, teaching artist, and promoter/producer. Notable milestones include serving as the Artist/Vendor Director for the Black Mountain Music Festival (1993-1995) and the Lake Eden Arts Festival (1995-2007), now known as Leaf Global Arts. My commitment extended to founding and teaching in an art-based after-school program at The New Classical Academy in Asheville, NC.

My teaching experience encompasses a rich array of classes and workshops, including painting, drawing, collage, drama, theater, puppetry, storytelling, dance, jewelry making, hand-sewing/embroidery, papercraft, and more. Notably, I produced and directed over 50 student-led plays, musicals, and puppet plays (with handmade puppets) for schools, after-school programs, and enhanced homeschool enrichment classes, leaving an indelible mark on the world of youth theater education.

In recent years, I have seamlessly merged my love for artistic expression with a deep interest in the Healing Arts. In 2022, I became a certified SoulCollage ® Facilitator, followed by achieving Veriditas Labyrinth Facilitator status in 2023. I have shared my expertise by facilitating workshops at festivals, retreats, and private gatherings, where my passion for art converges with a commitment to personal and spiritual growth.
